It took a while until the menu and the first drink came. But then we were very happy with the service. The food was very good.

Very nice and attentive service. Very good selection of dishes, something for every taste. The separate wine list also leaves nothing to be desired. Very tasty desserts and an interesting selection of coffees. And all for a good and justified price. With great pleasure again. = D

Reserved a table for lunch today. We can't rate the food because we left the restaurant after a short time. Unfortunately, during Corona times, it didn't seem like any measures were taken in this regard. The tables, which were standing close together, were very well occupied, the air was stuffy and the entrance doors were closed despite the good weather. We didn't want to expose ourselves to the risk.

Very good restaurant, large selection of dishes, very tasty. The staff was friendly, quick and careful. We would love to come back.

Cozy atmosphere, food is good. It's just a shame that a small part of the staff is not so careful about the correct fit of the mask. It wasn't a coincidence either, it was the same after several visits, consequently permanent condition.

We went to the Ratskeller for lunch. Service and drinks were ok. We had to wait a long time for the starter. Other guests who came later got their food earlier than we did. The main course came almost at the same time, which was very annoying because the food is so cold. The quality and taste of the food were good, which is to be expected for the price.

A very big thank you and my deep respect for the really big one! Performance of the two waiters at today's wedding celebration in the Altenburg tea house. Throughout the evening, both were absolutely courteous, always on hand, facilitators in all areas, forward thinking ("Oh, midnight - it's someone's birthday, I'd rather go there if champagne is needed") and actually absolutely refreshingly humorous - AND ALL THAT THE ENTIRE AFTERNOON & EVENING WITH A MASK ON FACE !!! This job demands a lot in itself - the kilometers that are run there, often with a lot of weight on all joints, the things you overhear, have to intercept (although you can't help it) or straighten the bones, the painful ones You ignore the request to speak and just continue in the morning half past one ... But that evening was crazy today! Dear Ratskeller team - a few fresh masks on the house and to invest in your absolutely terrific staff should be included as a reward (at least). If not one (to you and her): Thank you! You are absolutely great! (And so was the food!)

Exemplary nose mask. Very tasty food (salad with chanterelles, horseradish schnitzel). Very friendly.

In the summer the right thing to eat there, it's nice and pleasant with the temperature and in this Corona time. The staff is nice and accommodating. Gladly again ......

One of the best places we have ever visited. Huge selection, nice waiters and incredibly good cooks! Again and again gladly. We were all excited.

Very nice, rustic restaurant with a great ambience and good cuisine, as you would imagine a Ratskeller. A must in Altenburg. There are very tasty, also local food and drinks right at the historic town hall. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed at the beginning, but that subsided after a while. You should definitely bring your time. You will be rewarded with a great atmosphere and good food in large portions. We ate the grilled Altenburger goat cheese and the horseradish schnitzel and I can definitely recommend it.

Coincidentally with a small group turned-great ambience, nice story, great service, decent prices and really good food. All dishes tasted and especially the soups were great.
